A level 80 Mimog is worth roughly twelve base Mimog. That is the whole strategy — there is no rate to improve and no second dropper to find, only level.
One source gives the Alpha Mimog a flat 35 Dog Coins. Another gives the Treasure Trove Mimog Tribe Boss 35–50. These are probably the same encounter described differently, but the exact figure is unconfirmed.

This is why Mimog hunting is worth doing even when you are not short of Dog Coins. A level 80 Mimog pays up to 11,000 Gold on top of 250 Dog Coins, plus a one-in-five chance at a Training Manual (XL) that would otherwise cost 500 Ancient Pal Manuscripts.

The World Tree is where the farm actually lives. Mimog is a Normal-element Pal with no special resistances, so the only barrier is surviving a level 70–80 region.

Oil rig chests are the only non-Mimog source with published numbers. Every rig's second chest slot pays Dog Coins at a flat 25%, which makes a rig raid a decent side-earner but nothing like a Mimog run.

At 300 coins each, twelve Applied Handbooks cover every work suitability in the game — including Mining, which is the bottleneck for every quarry structure. Two level-70 Mimog kills pay for one. The Elixirs at 200 are also worth noting because the crafted version costs 2 Predator Cores plus 6 Lotus (L).
Claims that the Medal Merchant sells collaboration legendaries do not appear anywhere in the published inventory table. Treat those as unverified.
