Every date below is taken from Pocketpair's own announcements on the Steam news feed, which is the most reliable public record of when each build actually went live. Dates are given in UTC — Pocketpair typically posts around midday Japan time, so a patch can read as one day earlier in the Americas.

The roadmap: what is actually announced
As of 13 August 2026 Pocketpair has not published a dated content roadmap for after version 1.0. The official 1.0 changelog contains no future-content schedule, and every patch since has been fixes and balance. Sites listing dated 2026 content drops are not working from a published source.
Pocketpair did publish a roadmap once before, on 19 January 2025 alongside the game's first anniversary, so another one is plausible — but plausible is not announced.
Announced, but without dates
- Palworld Mobile — a mobile version with publisher Krafton. Announced for 2026; no launch date confirmed. A closed alpha ran in December 2025.
- Palworld Online — a separate mobile MMORPG with Garena for iOS and Android, announced 3 August 2026 for a 2026 launch. This is a different project from Palworld Mobile.
There is no announced Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version. There is no announced paid DLC or expansion pass. There is no announced sequel. Anything you read to the contrary is speculation.
Common questions about the timeline
Why do some sites say 9 July 2026? Steam's store listing renders the release date as 9 July 2026 because of store rollover and time zones. Pocketpair's own wording is 10 July 2026, which is the date used throughout this guide.
Was 1.0 a paid upgrade? No. It was a free update to everyone who already owned the game, and Pocketpair explicitly declined to raise the price at full launch.
Did the Nintendo lawsuit delay 1.0? Pocketpair has never said so. Two mechanics changed during litigation (November 2024 and May 2025) but no delay has been attributed to the case.
